Resources
Every Cause Crusader needs good tools and resources to help them on their mission to a life they are born to live. Here are some useful resources that I have used on my journey so far. Hopefully, they’ll help you as much as they’ve helped me.
Full disclosure: Some of these resources are free, and some aren’t. Those that are paid resources may be affiliate products or services, meaning if you buy them, I get a commission at no extra cost to you. Please know that I have experience with all of the following resources, which is why I recommend them.

Bluehost is the recommended hosting provider for 99% of people I help. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Bluehost for your first Wordpress site. Why? It’s extremely flexible to start out, and let’s you do a 1-click installation of WordPress. This makes setting up WordPress much easier. You can use unlimited domains if you plan on having multiple websites (which you will!).

Weebly is my favourite website builder. If you're not going down the Wordpress path, then I strongly recommend you use Weebly to get a site up A.S.A.P. The drag and drop builder makes building your first site easier than writing your final paper for university. KAC uses Weebly, and was initially created in under 24 hours. It's that easy!

GoDaddy is my go-to for website domains. Great pricing, easy to use interface, and customer service that is second-to-none. If you're looking to start a website of your own, I recommend you start with GoDaddy domain registration. I've also used their Wordpress website hosting service with great success.

Canva is an incredible Australian startup that's revolutionising the world of design. I started learning Photoshop and Illustrator, then found Canva. It's a brilliantly easy way to make logos, header banners, infographics, Facebook banners, and more. It's revolutionised the way I create images for my sites.

Web Tools
Gumroad - A great online shopping cart tool for accepting payments and distributing digital products. Their checkout process is seamless and smooth, which makes for happy customers.
Hootsuite - When you're using multiple social media accounts, this social media management tool is a cut above the rest. I love the ability to see all your scheduled posts in calendar view. Very helpful for the visuals amongst us.
SumoMe - From the creative minds of AppSumo comes an amazing suite of free tools to help grow your blog and increase traffic. Over 10,000 blogs (and counting!) use these free tools, and so do I.

Trello - The best tool to visually organise the jumble of tasks in my head. It’s my “to-do” list which keeps me focused in all areas of my life - business, personal, fitness, and more.
Google Drive - Those who aren’t familiar with this amazing free tool are missing out! Create, edit, and share anything from .docx, .xlsx, PDF, .ppt and much, much more. I use this tool every single day to create, edit and store documents.
Elance - Need help doing, well, anything!? Elance is your go-to place to find workers to help you build your cause. From web design to content writing, this is the place to get the help you need.
Evernote - Capture web results, record thoughts, collect ideas, collaborate and share easily across multiple devices. This is my go-to note taking platform. I wouldn’t use anything else.
The Five Minute Journal by Alex Ikonn - This beautiful book makes putting your thoughts on paper easy. I practice this every day, and it’s made me more productive, and far more aware of the amazing events that previously happened without me realising.

Blogs
Nomadic Matt - Matt has your travel bug catered for. Full of trips for the budget conscious traveller, and the long term escapee, this site is my go-to for tips, tricks, and anything travel.
ZenHabits - Champion of mindfulness - Leo Babauta - blogs on all things simplicity. It excellent material to get your mind into a state of thankfulness, appreciation, and recognising it’s the simple things that count.

Health and Fitness
12 Minute Athlete - Her slogan “Don’t waste your time in the gym” is what I live by. You don’t need fancy equipment to get a fit body, you just need a better guide. Check out her app on the App Store / Google Play. It’s perfect for a quick, no-thought workout.
TRX Trainer - One of the only pieces of gym equipment I actually own, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s light enough to stick in your luggage, and you can hang it almost anywhere for a super challenging workout. I recently took it to Bali with me, and it was a delight (albeit a painful one!).
The T-Bar - I’d like to claim this invention as my own, but I can’t. The brilliant Tim Ferriss discusses the miracle of kettlebell swings for fat burning in his book, the Four Hour Body. This DIY kettlebell is the second piece of equipment in my arsenal. Highly portable, and highly effective!
Endomondo - My mobile sport tracking software of choice. When I’m slogging it out on the pavement, it’s good to know my efforts are logged so I can bask in my own glory.

Essential Tech
13” Macbook Air - It took me over 15 years to convert from a PC, and I’ll admit it would be hard to go back. This little workhorse powers my mobile lifestyle with ease. 10+ hour battery, beautiful screen, fast processor. It’s an investment worth making.
Audio-Technica ATR2100 USB Mic - Recommended by the likes of Pat Flynn, Tim Ferriss, and many others as a mic of choice for podcasting and audio recording. I recommend it too. Pair it up with Audacity and you’ve got top quality audio for your project covered.
