If you feel you’re a victim, this is a must read. A true mentor of mine, and an idol to thousands worldwide, he introduces the concepts of self-help, self-realisation, and what it means to recognise and live in congruence with your values. It’s a read everyone will get something from. |
Steal Like an Artist - by Austin Kleon
This is the first in a series of books by Austin, and is a manifesto on creativity in the modern world. Not just for artists, this is for anyone creative – entrepreneurs like myself included. It’s a book full of ‘ah-ha’ moments and priceless gems to take home. discussing how to be creative, how to be most effective while creating, and how to get your work out into the world organically, and using the internet. His book emphasises the fact that no ideas are original – everything has been created based on previous work. It’s a great confidence booster for the aspiring creative. Give your self creative permission, and start by reading this book! |

This book sent waves through the 9-5 working world on it’s release in 2007, and continues to turn heads today. In his book, Tim dissects what it takes to create a “muse” business, and how you can run it on, quite literally, 4 hours a week or less. It’s inspiring stuff for a budding location independent Cause Crusader. |

Think you can’t travel long term? Think again. This wonderful book will get the wheels turning and will have you reaching for your backpack. It’s one of the most inspiring and insightful travel books I’ve ever read. |
The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts - by Gary Chapman
We all want to find our soul mate right? Well, there are things you are (and aren't) doing that determine the outcome of a relationship, and the results may surprise you. This has been the most revolutionary read for the quality of my relationships, and has increased the quality of connection I share with friends, family, and my partner. If you want to start, improve, or repair a relationship, then this is definitely for you. |
Powerful Sleep - by Kacper Postawski
Although the author's name may be a mouth full, this book is a well written and contains an extremely effective method of transforming your sleep patterns so you optimise your time in bed. It comes as part of a 21 day course aimed at having you get more energy from your sleep. I can vouch that the method works. I can feel rested after 6 hours sleep by following the simple method Kacper outlines. If you're currently sleeping for 8 hours a day, then you could be gaining 730 hours (30 days) per year of your life back! This fact alone makes the book a must read. |

Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion - Robert Cialdini
A fascinating look at how humans are programmed to react under different social settings. Mentioned by marketing guru’s such as Derek Halpern of Social Triggers, this book is a great resource into common well-used sales techniques that are all derived on human instinct.
